The Atlas Copco WEDA S60N pumps sludge and light slurry where more flow and lift are needed than the S50N can provide. Its vortex-type impeller allows solids to pass with the liquid, and the submersible layout suits work in tanks, trenches and ponds. This model uses three-phase power and belongs to the S family for soft mud and light slurry. For more abrasive mixtures, the separate L family offers slurry pumps built for that material, so the type of solids matters as well as the volume to be moved.
