Paving breakers and chipping hammers

The TEX line runs from light chipping hammers for scaling and surface prep up to full-size paving breakers for road repair and foundation work. The RTEX series is Atlas Copco's reduced-vibration platform, built to cut the hand-arm vibration that limits how long a crew can stay on the tool. For jobsites without air on hand, the petrol-driven Cobra breakers and the LH 11 hydraulic pick hammer cover the same work off a different power source.

Rivet busters (rivet guns)

Rivet busters — often called rivet guns — are the tool for shearing rivets, cutting bolts, and breaking out steel and concrete in tight quarters. Atlas Copco's TEX rivet busters are sold by handle configuration, and the suffix tells you which one you're getting: R for the standard round handle, RP for the round handle with an integrated throttle lever, and D for the D-handle. Pick the handle that suits the working position, not just the tool weight. Note that the rivet busters are not part of the reduced-vibration RTEX platform — if vibration exposure is the constraint, plan the duty cycle accordingly.

Rock drills and leg drills

Rock drilling is the largest part of this range. The BBD and BBC series are pneumatic leg drills — the drill and pneumatic feed leg work as one unit, so the operator isn't carrying the thrust. The RH 658 L and RH 658 LS are surface rock drills for shallow hole work, and the DKR combination hammer/drills switch between rotary drilling and straight hammering for mixed-material jobs. The Cobra Combi does the same in a petrol-driven package.

Impact wrenches

For heavy bolting and breakout torque, the TEX 290W, TEX 291W, and TEX 292W pneumatic impact wrenches handle the fastener work that sits alongside demolition and drilling — anchor bolts, rail fixings, structural steel, and track hardware.
