Privacy policy
Effective September 29, 2026
A1 Compressor Warehouse (“A1,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) sells industrial air compressors, parts, and related services through a1compressorwarehouse.com. We are based in Clover, South Carolina. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our site, ask for a quote, contact us, use our chat or financing tools, or place an order; how we use and share it; and the choices available to you.
Contact us at sales@a1compressorwarehouse.com, (803) 526-5797, or A1 Compressor Warehouse, 1042 Wylie Springs Circle #208, Clover, SC 29710, USA.
Information we collect
Browsing and device information. When you use the site, we and our service providers may receive your IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device details, pages and products viewed, referral source, search or campaign terms, ad click identifiers, dates and times, and interactions with site features. Cookies, local or session storage, pixels, log files, and similar technologies can record some of this information. Which optional tools run depends on the choices below.
Forms and quotes. If you ask a question, request a quote or service visit, apply for an industrial account, or subscribe to updates, we collect the information you provide, such as name, company, email, telephone number, equipment or service needs, and your message. We may also record the form used and the source of the visit so we can respond and understand which campaigns produced inquiries. Form submissions go to our email inbox and Odoo customer relationship management system.
Orders and checkout. If you purchase or try to purchase, Shopify and payment providers process order, billing, shipping, contact, and payment information. We receive the information needed to fulfill the order, communicate with you, handle returns, and keep business records. Shopify or its payment providers handle payment-card details; do not send card numbers through our contact forms or chat.
Calls, chat, and financing. If you call, we may collect the number you call from, time and duration of the call, and information you tell us. Google Ads call tracking can display a Google forwarding number to attribute calls from ads. If you use our Air Advisor chat, we process the text you enter and technical information needed to deliver the conversation. The chat asks you to agree before your first message; its messages pass through our Cloudflare Worker to Anthropic's Claude API. Do not put payment-card numbers or other highly sensitive information in chat. If you choose equipment financing, the Approve financing tool may collect application and related information and process it under its own terms and privacy notice. We may receive the information needed to follow up on a financing inquiry.
We collect information directly from you, automatically from your browser when a tool is permitted to run, and from partners involved in payment, advertising, financing, or service delivery. Some information relates to a business contact but may still identify a person.
Why we use information
We use information to answer inquiries and prepare quotes; provide products, delivery and service; process and document orders, payments, returns and financing referrals; send requested or permitted business and marketing communications; operate, secure and troubleshoot the site; understand how visitors use it; measure leads, calls and advertising; show relevant ads where permitted; and comply with legal obligations or protect our rights. We may combine an inquiry with later order or service records so we can serve you and understand our customer relationships.
Services and recipients
We share information only as needed for these purposes, including with the following providers and categories of providers:
- Shopify hosts our storefront and checkout, processes orders, runs store analytics and Shopify pixels, and provides customer privacy controls and Shop Pay. Shopify Network Intelligence may use permitted customer data for enhanced services and advertising. Read the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy for Shopify's own practices and choices.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) measures site visits, product interest, and events such as successful quote forms and newsletter sign-ups. Google Ads measures ad clicks, leads, purchases and calls; supports remarketing where permitted; and can replace our displayed telephone number with a Google forwarding number for call attribution. When advertising tracking is permitted, enhanced conversions may send SHA-256 hashes of a submitted email address or telephone number to Google for matching. Hashing changes the form of the data but does not make it anonymous. Google Merchant Center receives product information and related measurement from our Google sales-channel integration.
- Microsoft Clarity provides heatmaps and session recordings so we can understand how the site works. Session recording and Clarity cookies start only after you explicitly select Accept. Clarity's form masking helps keep entered form values out of recordings, but a recording can still include page views, clicks, scrolling, and other interaction details. Separately, the Microsoft Clarity app for Shopify may receive basic, cookie-free store events (such as which product page was viewed) through Shopify's customer-events system.
- Apollo.io provides business visitor identification and prospect information, which may identify a visiting company and professional contacts. Its website tracker loads only after you explicitly select Accept.
- Cloudflare delivers parts of our site and runs the Worker that relays Air Advisor messages. Anthropic processes those chat messages through its Claude API so the advisor can answer. The chat has its own agreement step before you send a message.
- Odoo stores leads and customer records and manages our email marketing. Our business email provider carries form messages and correspondence. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in a message or by contacting us.
- Approve provides the optional equipment-financing tool. Google Maps provides maps or location features when those features are used, and Google Fonts delivers some of the typefaces on our pages; both receive your IP address and basic browser information when they load. Shipping, payment, fraud-prevention, and service providers receive information needed for their tasks.
We may disclose information to authorities or advisers where required by law, to respond to a lawful request, to address fraud or security problems, or as part of a business transaction such as a sale or reorganization, subject to applicable law.
Cookies, tracking, and your choices
EEA, UK, and Switzerland. Optional analytics, advertising, Clarity recording, and Apollo visitor identification are off until you select Accept. Selecting Decline keeps them off. Necessary technologies for the storefront, checkout, security, and a service you request may still operate.
United States and other locations. Our notice explains that Shopify analytics, GA4, and Google Ads ordinarily run when you arrive. Selecting Decline stops future optional tracking. Selecting Accept also permits Clarity recording and Apollo visitor identification. If you close the notice without choosing, it is hidden temporarily; closing is not an Accept, and Clarity/Apollo do not start from that action. A prior opt-out from data sharing or a GPC signal can keep advertising uses off even after you select Accept.
Use Cookie settings at any time to review or change your choice. The same link appears in the site footer. A change stops future optional collection under the new setting; it cannot retract information already received. You can also delete existing cookies through your browser. Blocking all cookies in your browser may affect store or checkout functions.
The Your Privacy Choices page lets you opt out of uses that may count as sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising under applicable US law. We honor a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from US visitors as an opt-out of those uses: our Google Ads tag and Apollo do not load for that browser, and Shopify applies the opt-out to its own advertising integrations. GPC does not by itself stop necessary checkout processing or all ordinary site measurement. If your browser sends an older Do Not Track signal, we do not treat it as equivalent to GPC because it does not express the same standardized choice; use GPC, Cookie settings, or Your Privacy Choices instead.
We do not sell customer information for money as a data broker. Sharing identifiers and activity with Shopify or advertising partners for ad measurement, remarketing, or targeted advertising may nevertheless be a “sale” or “sharing” under some privacy laws. We provide the opt-out above for those activities. We do not use sensitive personal information for targeted advertising based on the information described here; please avoid sending sensitive details in open message fields.
Email and other communications
We use contact details to respond to a request and send transactional information about quotes, orders and service. We may add leads and customers to our Odoo email marketing list and send product, service, or business updates where permitted. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link; you may also email us to stop them. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop messages needed to fulfill an order or respond to an active request.
Privacy rights in the United States
Depending on your state and the law that applies to A1, you may have a right to request access to or a copy of personal information about you, correction, deletion, or portability; to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising; or to limit certain uses of sensitive information. You may also have a right to appeal a denied request. These rights can have verification, business-record, and other legal exceptions. We do not discriminate against people for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Use Your Privacy Choices for the advertising and sharing opt-out. For other requests, email sales@a1compressorwarehouse.com with “Privacy request” in the subject, or call (803) 526-5797. Tell us what you want us to do and how we can locate your records. We may ask for enough information to verify your identity or an authorized agent's authority, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. If we deny a request and your state gives you an appeal right, reply with “Privacy appeal” and why you think we should reconsider.
Some information, such as a business contact's order, warranty, tax or transaction record, may need to be retained even after a deletion request. An advertising opt-out does not stop communications that you request, essential checkout processing, or legally required records.
Rights and legal bases for EEA, UK, and Swiss visitors
Where European or Swiss privacy law applies, we rely on consent for optional cookies and similar tracking and, where required, marketing email. We use information to take steps you request before a contract and to perform a contract, such as providing a quote, order, delivery or service. We may rely on legitimate interests to respond to business inquiries, operate and secure the site, detect fraud, keep necessary records, and improve non-tracking aspects of our service, after considering the effect on individuals. We process information when needed to comply with legal duties, such as tax or accounting requirements. Legitimate interests do not override a required cookie choice.
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive your personal data, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, and complain to a data-protection authority. Withdrawal does not undo lawful processing completed earlier. Send requests to sales@a1compressorwarehouse.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where an exception applies. We do not make solely automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects based on the tools described in this policy.
International transfers, retention, and security
We are in the United States. Shopify and the other providers named above may process information in the United States, Canada, or other countries, which may have different privacy rules. Where a transfer rule applies, we use the mechanism available under the relevant law and provider arrangements. Contact us if you want information about a particular transfer.
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, including an active quote or customer relationship, delivery and service, warranty or dispute handling, security, and legal or tax records. Marketing contact information is kept until you unsubscribe or we no longer need it, subject to necessary suppression records. Cookies, session data, recordings, and provider logs have different retention periods; contact us for details about a specific record or tool. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards and limit access to people and providers who need the information, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.
Children and changes
This industrial-business site is not directed to children under 16, including children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
We may update this policy when our practices, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the new effective date here and give any additional notice required by law. For questions or complaints, use the contact details at the top of this policy.
