The Schulz FSCS 490 is a cyclone-style condensate separator rated for 488 CFM at 100 PSIG. Schulz Condensate Separators use an efficient cyclone system to promote bulk liquid water separation, installed downstream of compressor coolers or upstream of coalescing pre-filters to eliminate condensate drag in the air flow and extend pre-filter service life.

Cyclone Line Construction

  • Centrifugal cyclone — aerodynamically designed fins for higher efficiency.
  • Cyclone cone — conical shape enhances the centrifugal cyclone effect.
  • Cyclone spoiler — specially designed deflector that increases separator efficiency and stops condensate water from re-flowing into the air stream.
