Choose by weight and vibration

Check CFM at 90 PSI
TEX 03 PS needs 15 CFM and TEX 05 P needs 20 CFM, both at 90 PSI. Size the compressor by CFM at 90 PSI, not tank size. Include other tools that will run at the same time, and keep air demand separate from the hammer's weight and blow rate.
Match the bit to the shank
TEX 03 PS, TEX 05 P and TEX 05 PE use a 3/4 x 2 inch shank and cap retainer. Choose a moil point, narrow chisel, wide chisel or bush-hammer component to suit your material-removal job. When comparing tool steel, match the shank and retainer first; the shape of the working tip alone does not establish fit.
