The EL-AV CND Series cyclone water separator removes up to 99% of bulk liquid water from compressed air using a high-velocity centrifugal vane — no element to replace, no consumables to stock. Mount it as the first stage of any plant air-treatment train to protect refrigerated dryers, coalescing filters, and downstream tooling from slugs of water.

Placement

Install the CND immediately downstream of the air receiver tank, ahead of any refrigerated dryer or coalescing filter. The cyclone needs turbulent flow to work properly — don't install it directly off the compressor discharge (no separation will occur). For high-condensate environments, replace the standard drainer with the EL-AV CNDSSAD stainless-steel auto drainer upgrade.
