The Mattei MIF Series is an inline cast-housing compressed-air filter line covering 6 to 1,500 scfm. MIF features deep pleated construction for low pressure drop and is engineered for use with air dryers to remove dirt, rust, pipe scale, water, and lubricant from your air stream.
Three filter grades — pick the right one for your application
- M1 — 1 micron particulate. Recommended as a prefilter ahead of a refrigerated dryer.
- M0.01 — 0.01 micron coalescing for oil and water aerosols. Ideal downstream of a refrigerated dryer to polish the air before piping.
- MAC — Activated carbon for oil vapor and odor removal. Always install immediately downstream of an M0.01 coalescing filter. Element life decreases with rising inlet temperature; not recommended above 77°F. For breathing air, do not use.
